Plus500 , one of the largest online brokers in Europe , gives you the possibility to trade through CFDs in a complete catalog of more than 2000 financial instruments such as stocks, stock indices, Forex currency pairs, raw materials, … And now you also have the possibility of trading with Plus500 in options .

Plus500 is a CFD broker . You should not confuse this type of financial instrument with the binary options offered by other types of online broker. Plus500 does not offer binary options . The options with which you can trade on the Plus500 platform are really contracts in which a seller grants the right (not the obligation) to a buyer to buy (“Call”) or sell (“Put) a certain underlying asset at a price fixed in a certain period of time , limited by an expiration date.

Plus500 offers for example the possibility of trading with options on the following stock indices :

Dax 30 from Germany

S & P500 from United States

CAC 40 from France

MIB 40 from Italy

AEX 25 from Holland

How do Plus500 options work?

On the Plus500 trading platform you can locate the unavailable CFDs on options . The operation is like any CFDs (More info: What are CFDs? ) But on a series of CALL and PUT options created by the broker as we can see in the example in the following image:

When trading these available options, it consists of opening a position , with available tools such as stop loss or take profit. Once the position is opened, we can wait for the option’s expiration date or advance the position’s closure at the moment that we consider appropriate.
